Covid-19

What We Do

We will collaborate with response teams to help implement new protocols to strengthen your defense against COVID-19. Our disinfecting programs are designed to provide your workplace with an effective way to achieve compliance with Alberta Labour Code and adhere to Health Canada’s recommendations for disinfecting minimums. We provide you with the reassurance that your space is being treated in a professional and thorough manner, each and every time.

  • Our disinfecting products and methods kill germs on surfaces beyond traditional janitorial services to reduce the risk of spreading the infection of COVID-19 via surface-to-human interaction.

  • We customize a disinfecting program for your workplace or public space in order to help mitigate the risk of COVID-19 infection among employees and members of the public.

  • We have integrated protocols, equipment, technologies and medical-grade disinfecting chemicals commonly utilized in healthcare settings into our workplace disinfecting programs.

  • Our systematic approach ensures that every frequently touched surface within a defined area is both cleaned AND disinfected.

How We Do It

We use a four step approach to design customized disinfecting programs for our client’s workplace:

  1. Assessment
Visit the site to understand the needs associated with each workplace based on spatial constraints and number of staff and/or members of the public in the area. Assess surfaces being treated and sensitivity of areas involved. Learn about unique risks.

  2. Selection
Decide what disinfecting equipment, medical-grade products and PPE should be used. Define Job Hazard Assessment.

  3. Implementation
Create a communication and coverage system using a “map & zone” plan. Create a schedule.  Build record keeping system for OHS. Communicate with staff / educate employees about our procedures and protocols.

  4. Revision
As our economy and communities open up through phases 1, 2 & 3, we will integrate new protocols into our safety and disinfecting programs as needed. Increase PPE as needed. Update JHA. Continually learn about COVID-19.

The Steps We Take

  • Safety is our top priority. Every shift begins with a safety meeting and staff screening.

  • We provide full personal protective equipment (PPE) for our staff.

  • We adhere to the two metre physical distance recommendation at all times.

  • Our crews work in zones and use a one-in-one-out system to decrease the risk of person-to-person contamination.

  • Our medical-grade disinfecting chemicals are approved by Health Canada and are designated with an 8-digit DIN number.

  • We provide external accountability measures to employers who recognize that protecting the Health and Safety of their workers is continually evolving. Our records provide back-up for your internal safety audits.

  • Our internal systems and checks provide accountability measures to ensure no surface is missed.

  • We communicate with your staff.  After every shift, our crew sign off on every area using our company stickers posted throughout the workplace.

Commercial Office Building Detailed Medical Disinfecting

It is the employer’s responsibility to protect the health and safety of workers and others within the workplace. COVID-19 has changed the way we assess hazards at work. Interaction with other people, and the potential of fomites on surfaces must now be managed in order to reduce the risk of infection among your employees.

High-Quality Disinfecting Solutions For Your Workplace

The virus is invisible, therefore a methodical and systematic approach for frequent disinfecting is your best defence in protecting potentially asymptomatic workers from spreading COVID-19 in the workplace.

Our experience with workplace disinfecting at this early stage of the pandemic has provided us with an understanding of how to properly treat large spaces that appear clean while carefully compiling the documentation necessary to make the assertion that your workplace disinfecting treatments are compliant.

Assess Your COVID-19 Era OHS Plan

We will help guide you through the process of what it takes to achieve effective disinfecting and work with your team to integrate a specific COVID-19 risk-reduction system into your existing OHS plan.

Our goal is to gather input from employers and share lessons we have learned while working to protect other client’s workers during the pandemic. Contact us to learn more.

Workplaces & Public Spaces For Employers Who Will Stop at Nothing to Protect Their Staff

Successful Infection = Exposure to Virus x Time

People are nervous and anxious about going back to work. This means our workplaces, public spaces, places of worship and our homes can become high risk for community transmission.

Our crews have been providing disinfecting services for employers since the very beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.  We understand what it takes to provide a meticulous and thorough program to mitigate the risk of infection for both your employees and members of the public.

Equipment & Vehicles With Multiple Operators

It’s not just management teams and office staff who need protection.  Safety has been drilled into the hearts and minds of industrial workers for years. Why should the health risk of COVID-19 be any different?

Every day, vehicles, heavy equipment, locomotives, and site trailers often see multiple employees’ cycle in-and-out.

Keeping work sites and equipment clean and disinfected must be our top priority as your crews come back to the job site.

Heavy Equipment & Vehicle Operator Cab Disinfecting

Health Canada is recommending that all hard surfaces and high-touch points be cleaned and disinfected twice a day or more. Keeping heavy equipment operators safe while on the job will be no exception.

Providing a daily disinfecting service to vehicle cabs, door handles, tools, and other touchpoints in shared equipment is growing to become a vitally important part of companies’ Occupational Health and Safety programs.

Depending on the needs of your company, we have a wide range of equipment including pump-sprayers, foggers, electrostatic sprayers, and back-pack sprayers at our disposal to carefully and thoroughly complete a full disinfecting treatment.
